Not to Be Missed

Scott Baldinger has some suggestions on his blog for Hudson in the aftermath of the Common Council adopting the GEIS: "Ideas for Stuckville."

A couple of comments on Baldinger's comments:
  • CR doesn't stand for "Commercial/Residential"; it stands for "Core Riverfront"--testimony to how difficult it was for the audience to hear anything properly at Monday's meeting;
  • Back in the Tracy administration (2006-2007), Michael O'Hara, who was then Public Works Commissioner, investigated the possibility of harnessing the methane escaping from the North Bay landfill for some useful purpose but found that it had been capped so long ago that it wasn't producing a usable amount of methane anymore.
