Of Interest

Tom Casey reports today in the Register-Star that the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court has made a decision in the legal battle between Heinrich von Ritter and the City of Hudson over the property at the end of Tanners Lane: "Von Ritter saga continues." The Appellate Court denied von Ritter's motion, effectively wiping out years of time and effort in the courts.

In the process of the legal battle, the property was appraised three times, for $50,000, $160,000, and $50,000 respectively. Von Ritter now has it on the market with an asking price of $4 million.
