News on the Historic Preservation Front

The word is that the Galvan Foundation has withdrawn its appeal to the Common Council for a review of the Historic Preservation Commission's decision regarding the Robert Taylor House. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean Galvan has abandoned the idea of moving the house. It seems they intend to make a new application to the HPC for a certificate of appropriateness to move the historic house from its original location along what was once South Bay to 21-23 Union Street.
