Seen at the Hudson Police Station

Although the official position of city government seems often to be dog unfriendly, given the Common Council's refusal to lift the prohibition on dogs in riverfront park and the mayor's singlehanded efforts to banish dogs from the city cemetery, the Hudson Police Department is demonstrating a more hospitable attitude toward dogs. This was spotted yesterday in front of police headquarters on Warren Street.

Just inside the door of HPD headquarters is the new receptacle for discarding unused and unwanted prescription drugs. It is no longer necessary to wait for that one day a year when the county sheriff's office accepts prescription drugs. You can dispose of them safely here at any time.
