More News from the Planning Board Meeting

Two other issues worthy of mention came before the Planning Board last night. Academy Hill Development Corporation, creators of Mount Ray Estates, requested and were granted another three-year extension to complete Phase II. The extension gives the developers until January 2018 to construct the rest of the proposed condominium units.

Also the Planning Board unanimously approved the site plan for Hudson Anchor Market & Supply, being created at 752 Warren Street, in the building that was constructed a hundred years ago to be the Hudson Crescent Garage.

In December, the project received a certificate of appropriateness from the Historic Preservation Commission. The owners anticipate a ten-month construction period with a target date for opening in late fall 2015. Perhaps the opening will coordinate with the closing for the season of the outdoor Hudson Farmers' Market.
