New Location, New Program, New Name

Arthur Cusano reports today in the Register-Star that the Galvan Initiatives Foundation has pledged a one-time grant of $250,000 to help establish the Warren Street Academy at 11 Warren Street: "Bard, Galvan partner for education."

According to the article, a Bard High School Early College program will be run out of the former COARC building, newly dubbed the Warren Street Academy, together with the alternative transition program known as "The Bridge" and the special education program which were previously housed at 364 Warren Street. As was the case with 364 Warren Street, the programs will be tenants in the building at 11 Warren Street, which the Galvan Foundation acquired in August 2014.
