A Tale of Two Houses . . . Redux

Three weeks ago, Peter Watson delivered the second of two lectures relating to the Dr. Oliver Bronson House. This lecture, "A Tale of Two Houses," explored and compared two great Columbia County houses of the early 19th century: the Bronson House in Hudson and the Vanderpoel House in Kinderhook. If you missed Watson's fascinating lecture about these two houses and the legendary "master mechanic" Barnabas Waterman, to whom both houses are attributed, Dan Udell graciously videotaped it, and it can now be viewed online.
